This month, UPF was honored to be featured in Movers & Makers magazine.The issue focused on animal welfare and our very own founder, Dr. Zeke Zekoff, along with four other leaders in the industry, was interviewed as part of the publication. Dr. Zeke discussed the current challenges in Cincinnati regarding animal welfare, concerns for the lack of protection against animal abuse, how the pandemic has affected pet rescue and how individuals can get involved to help make improvements.
“The state of animal welfare is in flux in Greater Cincinnati as we do not have a clear leader in the region…many smaller mom-and-pop organizations have picked up the bulk of the load in taking care of animals that have been neglected and abused” Dr. Zeke Zekoff.
